Method 1: Backup using iTunes

You can try taking backup of your iPhone/iPad using iTunes. Follow the steps given below in order to take backup.

Step 1: Unlock your iPhone/iPad

Step 2: Connect your iPhone/iPad to a PC/Mac using a data cable.

Step 3: You need to have the latest version of iTunes installed on your PC/Mac, You can download the latest version of iTunes from here

Step 4: Wait until your iPhone/iPad is recognized by the PC/Mac.

Step 5: Once recognized, Press the iPhone/iPad logo under iTunes.

Step 6: Now press click on the option “This Computer” and click “Backup up now.”

That’s all you have to do. All your iPhone/iPad data will be backed up.

Method 2: Backup using iCloud

The fact is that all your iPhone/iPad data are backed up to iCloud automatically. You just need to be sure that iCloud is enabled on your device. If you don’t have an iCloud account, you can create a new one within few minutes. In order to check whether iCloud is enabled on your device or not follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Unlock your iPhone/iPad

Step 2: Go to settings

Step 3: Under Settings, select the option iCloud and log in to it.

Step 4: Once you have logged in, scroll down the page until you find the option “Backup.”

Step 5: Under Backup enables the automatic iCloud switch on.
