YouTube, Gmail, Google Docs and Drive are down

What seems to be a outrage, YouTube and other related Google Services such as Google Drive, and Google Docs seems to down. While YouTube is returning the infamous Something went wrong message, Google docs is returning the following error.

Google Docs encountered an error. Please try reloading this page, or coming back to it in a few minutes.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

The same can also be seen when accessing Google Drive as it shows there were some problems loading you apps. This is not the first time Google’s major services have faced the issue, however, this could be the first time more than one Google service to have gone down due to service outage.

Currently we have no update from Google behind the reason for this outage. We will update this page as soon as we find more details.

Update: Seems like people are able to access YouTube in incognito mode. This seem to an error that has affected Google Account users specifically.

Update 2: Google seem to have worked out the issue, as the YouTube service is back and running. Other Google services such as Gmail, Drive and Docs are also back and online.

However, Gmail still has some issues as it shows the “Gmail is temporarily unable to access your contacts. You may experience problems while this persists” after signing in.
